Impact of transformation and fintechs
What McKinsey Digital’s global research has shown is that organizational culture is indicated in the first place as an obstacle to effective digital transformation. This subject creates many new spaces for discussion, such as changing thinking about innovations or a skillful approach to progress. The topic of the impact of transformation on employees and the entire economy will be one of the first topics raised during the FinTech Digital Congress. One of the congress panels will be devoted to the issue of access, management and data management. Slogans such as open banking, open insurance and open platforms will surely become the basis for further exchange of opinions on the view of the bank as an ecosystem of services in the context of Poland and foreign markets. The event will talk about the most-current issues important to the sector, including the cyber security problem in the field of mobile solutions and innovations. Participants will certainly be able to learn from the best. Experts from countries that are pioneers of implementing innovative technologies to the financial sector are foreseen.
Current questions regarding the development of Insurtechs
The problem of start-ups on the Polish market is an issue which must be present at the InsurTech Digital Congress. More than 25% of Polish start-ups don’t survive the first year of operation, and 40% collapse before two years expire. The current state of affairs results from missing tools for the development of insurtechs, as well as difficulties in obtaining financing resulting from regulation. However, suggested by the title of one of the debates “Insurtech needed from now”, we have a high demand for technologies in Poland. During the congress, speakers will consider whether Poland has a chance to be the second Israel in terms of innovation and how native insurtechs can sell their ideas and enter foreign markets. Important in the context of the development of digitization are the issues of cyber threats that result from the progress and development of digitization. During a separate block devoted to this ongoing problem, experts will consider how to protect themselves from data leaks, as well as that of customers and confidential company data. However, Big Data is a big potential. The answer to the question of how to skilfully use data around us and ubiquitous digitalization is the potential for an interesting, substantive discussion.
The conclusion of the first day of the FinTech & InsurTech Digital Congress will be the FinTech & InsurTech Night Grand Gala. During the event, winners of the FinTech & InsurTech Awards are awarded in the following 6 categories:
- FinTech Award
- InsurTech Award
- Blockchain Technology Award
- Best Lending Solution
- Best Payment Solution
- Start-up Award
The previous edition FinTech & InsurTech Digital Congress was a big success. Thanks to the practical solutions presented by the pioneers of the fintech and insurtech industry from 13 countries, the event showed how to operate in an extremely competitive and unpredictable environment of the global market. The substantive agenda, with more than 100 top experts in the role of speakers and networking with key representatives of both industries, attracted almost 600 participants across the two days of the congress. – During the FinTech & InsurTech Digital Congress various groups meet: bankers, representatives of loan companies, representatives of regulators, state administration and, of course, fintechs. It’s a great place for all these environments to listen to each other, better understand each other and cooperate, because that’s what we need in Poland. – summarised Krzysztof Domarecki, Creator of Fidiasz EVC, Founder of Selena Group.
The Congress is carried out as part of the activities of the MMC Poland group, which organises prestigious congresses, conferences, workshops and business trainings in Poland, dedicated to specialists, managerial staff and company management.
